Giving Project
Now through Christmas
Do you have any extra dry goods, food, or other living essentials laying around your house that you could give to those in need? We are gathering supplies to help out families in need for a local church, and we want YOU to help! If you can help out by bringing any of the below listed items, we will be collecting them at Refresh over the next month. You could help make this holiday season more joyful by helping meet the needs of families right here in Colorado Springs! If you have any questions or want additional information, contact Megan at mjohnson@uccs.edu.

Are you planning on being here over this holiday season? Want to make a difference in the lives of people living in your city? Well we have a great opportunity for you to help serve!
We have the chance to help out with movie nights with homeless people in our city on the last Friday of each month. If you'd like to give some of your time and help out on November 28th or December 26th, contact Collin at cruss@uccs.edu and he'll give you more info!
Journey '08 Fall Conference
October 31-November 2, 2008
It's that time again! The UCCS Navigators will be joining all the other Navs groups from the Rocky Mountain region for a weekend in the beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park up in Estes Park. This is a great weekend for growing closer to God and to your friends, and it's also a good excuse to get out of the monotony of school life and go on a road trip!
To sign up, visit www.regonline.com/journey08. This is an amazing weekend that you won't want to miss!

Back in the Upper Lodge!
Wednesday
October 1, 2008
After a couple of weeks in room UC116, we are moving back to the usual spot in the Upper Lodge! Refresh starts at 8pm. This week for AfterRefresh this week will be bowling at Harmony Bowl off of Austin Bluffs. Hope to see you all there!
Ice Blocking
Wednesday
September 3, 2008
We will be going ice blocking at Cottonwood Park after Refresh this Wednesday, so make sure and have your sweatshirt, cruddy clothes, and $2 for a block of ice. Also, it's a good idea to bring a towel to sit on so you don't slip right off the block. For anyone who doesn't know, ice blocking is kinda like extreme summer sledding that involves flying down a grassy hill on a large block of ice. It's going to be tons of cheap college fun. See you there!
Men's Intramural Flag Football
September-November
For any guys interested in playing flag football, the Navigators will be creating a team again this year. No football experience is needed, so feel free to sign up. The signup sheet will be available at Refresh each week, so be sure to stop by!
Questions about Flag Football? Contact Zach at zlundqui@uccs.edu.
