UCCS Chancellor's Award
The UCCS Chancellor's Award is for incoming full-time freshman and transfer students who are from Colorado or on the WUE tuition rate attaining their first undergraduate degree. Students seeking a second undergraduate degree or admitted to a graduate program are not eligible. International students are not eligible for this award.
Incoming Freshman
Without test scores:
- Automatically awarded to students with 3.5 weighted HS GPA or higher.
- Student with 3.0 - 3.49 weighted HS GPA will be invited to fill out a supplemental form to be reviewed by an Awards committee for eligibility.
With test scores:
- Automatically awarded to students with 3.0 weighted HS GPA or higher with either a minimum ACT score of 22 or SAT score of 1110.
New Transfers
Automatically awarded to students with 3.0 cumulative transfer college GPA or higher and with a minimum of 24 college credit hours.
The award is renewable for up to four years if the requirements of the scholarship are met. Requirements are to complete 30 credit hours/ year with at least a 3.0 UCCS GPA.
Transfer students may not realize all semesters of the award due to individual degree completion timelines.
