Exploring/Prospective Students
We understand that choosing the right college is a big decision for both you and your student, and we're here to help make that process easier. We invite you to visit our campus, explore our resources, and connect with our supportive Admissions team to get all your questions answered. When your student is ready to apply, our team is available to guide you through every step, ensuring a smooth and confident application process.
Admitted Students
Once your student is admitted to UCCS, the next steps in their journey are exciting! This is when they’ll apply for housing, apply for financial aid, and start preparing for college life. They’ll also sign up for Orientation, where they’ll enroll in classes and officially begin their UCCS experience. Our Orientation team is so excited to welcome you and is here to provide guidance and answer any questions you may have along the way.
Current Students
As a current UCCS Mountain Lion, your student has access to a wealth of opportunities both academically and personally. From engaging in research and joining clubs to accessing valuable resources like Academic Advising, the Wellness Center, and the Excel Centers, they have the support to thrive. The Office of the Dean of Students is also here as a resource for both students and their families, ensuring your student’s well-being and success throughout their UCCS journey.
Alumni
Once a Mountain Lion, always a Mountain Lion! We encourage the families of our UCCS alumni to stay connected with the UCCS community by staying in touch with our Alumni Office. It's a great way to continue supporting your graduate, stay informed about exciting university events, and maintain your ties to UCCS. Whether it's through networking opportunities, alumni events, volunteering, or learning about resources, the Alumni Office is a wonderful way to remain involved.
